Comfortable, modern accommodation is available at the conference venue, Womens College at The University of Queensland, St Lucia. Accommodation at the College is for both male and female delegates. The choices are: Single room with shared facilities, AUD$71.50 per night Single room with shared ensuite facilities between 2 rooms, AUD$83.60 per night per person Bookings should be made through the conference registration form. High speed internet access is available in all of the rooms, on a "user pay" basis (approximately 350meg @ AUD$10). This is cable access which can be arranged at the College Reception. Guestrooms contain separate lounge/dinning area from the bedrooms, air-conditioning, colour TV, kitchen with full size stove and refrigerator, washing machine and dryer. Hotel offers secure undercover parking. There is a wide range of other accommodation available in Brisbane, but other options may involve considerable travel time as well as the cost of transport to the conference venue. The conference organisers encourage intending delegates to make a room at the conference venue their first choice.
MEALS Breakfast is included in the price of accommodation at Women's College, but not at Toowong Villas. Morning and afternoon tea and lunch are provided free of charge on conference days (Monday to Friday). Evening meals are available at recommended local restaurants (booked for groups of conference delegates) and at the conference venue. The approximate cost in 2010 is AUD$15 at Womens College and AUD$30 at restaurants.
